About Us

Learn Play Grow is a environmentally conscious education center located in Pontiac,Michigan. We aim to develop imagination while providing high quality care for your child(ren). Learn Play Grow staff members are well trained and will ensure your child’s safety, and growth while promoting a trustworthy,and loving environment geared towards the specific needs of all children. We specialize in building the foundation to your child’s education as well as developing a child’s  imagination.

At Learn Play Grow we strive to embrace young minds with hands on learning experiences. Our curriculum prepares students for the many basic school readiness’ of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Arts) learning. Alongside STEM Learn Play Grow focus’ on the creative child. Learn Play Grow encourages children to explore, communicate and problem solve while developing their own unique personalities within an loving and nurturing environment

Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum ” includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language. The social/emotional stage helps promote independence, self-confidence and self-control”

Reading/Writing

Learn Play Grow builds upon the foundation of Reading/Writing through reading aloud, utilizing common and creative writing sources and ongoing exposure to literacy & writing through daily routines

Math/Science

Learn Play Grow builds upon the foundations of Math/Sciences through Daily Exploration & discovery, working with Patterns, Shapes, Numbers and Scientific Investigations.

Art

Learn Play Grow utilizes Art/Creative Activities as a way to build, explore and connect. Children thrive in more ways than one when they are provided the space to create.

Critical Thinking

Learn Play Grow realizes the importance of critical thinking and discovering answers to the why’s.  Learn Play Grow design experiments to feed the child’s curiosity and to encourage creativity.

What Our Families are Saying

I have been bringing my daughter to the ladies of Learn Play Grow since she was three months old and they were based out of a home daycare. As a parent, two of the most important things to me were finding caregivers that treated my baby with kindness and love, and were easy to communicate with. My daughter always seems happy to see the ladies there and I receive daily updates on what she did/ate with pictures! I was a bit nervous when the owner decided to expand her daycare and move to a center, but after seeing the new facility with the multitude of toys and activities (and my daughter’s reaction to the new place) it set my mind at ease. I’m happy that I was able to find my daughter a home away from home while I’m at work!
